#CPBR5, Appies Launch, Hack & Promo Winners
We are very proud to announce that Appies has officially launched at Campus Party Brazil.
We are accepting now the first applications to select the first 10 developers that we will work with. If you want to attend, click here.
At #CPBR5 we’ve also run the #HackCPBR5 for Telefonica|Vivo, an incredible 4 days crazy competition with lots of developers interacting, developing, learning and growing. We’ve appointed 2 winners – Roberto Civille / METRONIBUS and Diego Rocha / PELADAMOBI at the Blue Via category - and 3 winners at the Vivo Meu App category – Andressa Pereira / ECOMANIA, Marcos Cerqueira / MAIS UFC and Davi Nunes / CIÊNCIA DO ESPORTE. Congrats all participants!
We’ve also selected the winners of the Appies Geekpreneur Manifesto. Beno Netto won the Blackberry Playbook and Igor Costa won the Xbox 360. Check out their responses.
#CPBR5 was incredible and it was the perfect spot to launch Appies.
Soon Appies will be at the Launch.is startup event in San Francisco (@bobwollheim) and at the MWC in Barcelona (@dirs). Wait for more news.

Appies at Campus Party
Next week Appies will be part of the 5th edition of Campus Party Brazil, the largest Internet and IT event worldwide.
We are co-producers of the Hackathon Telefonica | Vivo where 2 different challenges will happen: BlueVia for PROS and Vivo Meu App for amateurs. Besides the competition, we will host several speeches, either technical, inspirational or business.

We are officially launching Appies with a Geekpreneur Manifesto and also a challenge for developers to complete and/or change it. Awards available for the best ones.

Semana que vem acontecerá um dos maiores eventos de tecnologia e internet do Brasil. A Campus Party chega a sua 5ª edição e a Appies estará presente no evento.
Somos coprodutores do Hackathon Telefonica | Vivo, onde acontecerá dois desafios, um para a plataforma BlueVia e outra no Vivo Meu App. Além dos desafios, também estamos levando conteúdos inspiracionais, técnicos e bacanudos para todos os developers.

Yes, Appies launched.
In fact, we've started operations in a soft mode. The full time operations will only start on February 2nd 2012.
Appies is a powerhouse that will turbo developers of APPs and APIs worldwide.
We understand that on the Geek Economy the missing piece is not the development capacity, but the business capabilities and that's where Appies comes in.
